Christine’s Hope For Kids
I had the privilege of hearing Jean and John Gianacaci speak at the NJ Bankers Associations annual Women In Banking Conference, on April 22, 2015. They shared their tragic and very sad story about their 22-year-old daughter, Christine Gianacaci, who was a student at Lynn University. She and several classmates and professors traveled to Haiti on a mission to help children and to feed the poor.
A massive earthquake struck on January 12, 2010 and the hotel that Christine and her classmates were staying in collapsed. She, three of her classmates and two professors were killed in this devastating earthquake.
Christine’s Parents decided to keep her memory alive by share her generous spirit of giving to under privileged children and started a foundation called Christine’s Hope for Kids.
Jean and John shared a very moving and beautiful video highlighting some of the work of Christine’s ability to share love and kindness to so many under privileged children before her passing. I was so touched and felt the need to share this wonderful foundation with all of you. Please see the link here: http://www.christineshope.org
Please consider giving to this local foundation that has been created and is sponsored by love for a special young lady who was taken far too early from this earth. My blessings and love to go out to her parents Jean and John. Please take a moment to visit Christine’s Hope for Kids website and perhaps donate either your time or money to this very good cause that funds less fortunate kids right in our own back yard.
